Business Development Manager

Melamine Emporium is urgently looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager for its new Medical Range products in the corporate sector.

The candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in the same discipline, be presentable, and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales in Medical Devices, Disposables, and related fields.

The candidate will be responsible for :

• Identifying new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, and services.
• Seeking out the appropriate contact in an organization.
• Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers.
• Meeting with customers / clients face to face or over the phone.
• Understanding the needs of your customers and being able to respond effectively with a plan to meet these needs.
• Thinking strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
• Working strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
• Drawing up client contracts - depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal.
• Having a good understanding of the business's products or services and being able to advise others about them.
• Ensuring staff are on board throughout the organization and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
• Training members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate.
• Discussing promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
• Liaising with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate.
• Seeking ways of improving the way the business operates.
• Attending seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
• Keeping abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
• Willing to travel outside Karachi and able to demonstrate products and meet new clients.

Selected candidates will be offered an attractive salary of 30,000 + with fuel & commission.
