Besides the outpatient clinics, the inpatient set-up consists of a paediatric ward with two units comprising of 84 beds, a state of art Neonatal Intensive care unit with latest equipment and protocols in place and a capacity of 24 high acuity beds with one is to one staffing along with 10 bedded level 2 care monitored cots. The Neonatal section offers a 2 year Neonatal fellowship training and is one the oldest and established fellowship program with 6 fellows. In addition to care for sick babies, the section also provides services along with paediatric consultants to the well baby in the post-natal wards. Responsibilities

You will be responsible to : dispense drugs in the inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory pharmacies review and process physician orders for accurate therapeutic doses monitor laboratory reports for proper indication of antibiotics, drug to drug interactions, duplication of same class etc ensure timely delivery of medication to nursing units and patients ensure accuracy of the labels before dispensing complete expiry of drug list accurately and on timely-basis assist in patient counseling for outpatient prescription and maintenance of cash prepare cytotoxic drug, TPN solution, IVPB mixtures, sterile injection, bulk compounding and monitor chemo critical list. Requirements

You should have : a Doctorate / Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university current registration with pharmacy council Pakistan at least one year experience in a reputable organization familiarity with hospital pharmacy functioning and processes sound knowledge of physiology, pharmacology and pharmaceutical concepts knowledge of locally available drugs, pharmaceutical drugs and their indications excellent communication skills, particularly with medical professionals and patients willingness to work in shift duties comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
