Credentialing Specialist (Wound Care Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Complete provider enrollment and re-credentialing applications with commercial and government payers.
• Manage CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, Availity, and payer portals for credentialing updates.
• Track application status, follow up with payers, and resolve issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of credentialing and enrollment documentation.
• Ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with providers, office staff, and billing teams to support smooth practice operations.
