Trainee Client Advisor Jobs in Glasgow and Dundee – Join Marsh Commercial

Exciting Opportunity with Marsh Commercial Marsh Commercial is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join its Enterprise team as a Trainee Client Advisor. This hybrid role is based in either Glasgow or Dundee, and requires working at least four days a week in the office. About the Role

As a Trainee Client Advisor, you will provide exceptional service to new and existing clients, support a range of commercial insurance products, manage client relationships, and ensure all service standards are met. Whether you have previous insurance experience or are new to the field, Marsh Commercial offers a structured induction program and support to pursue chartered insurance qualifications.

After initial training, you’ll manage a dedicated portfolio of clients, handling renewals, invoicing, and preparing quotes. You’ll also identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities to give clients the best coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional client service across all aspects of account management and meet Marsh Commercial’s high standards.

Handle multiple client queries efficiently and collaborate with insurer partners.

Support colleagues as needed and engage in ongoing training to gain a deep understanding of major insurance classes.

Stay updated on new products and industry developments.

Qualifications and Skills

At least one year of experience in insurance (personal lines or commercial), or equivalent.

Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
