We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Design Engineer to join our project team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the engineering design, technical review, and execution of instrumentation works within the EIA scope, ensuring full compliance with international and Dutch standards .

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, instrument datasheets, hook-up drawings, and loop diagrams .
• Ensure compliance with IEC 61511, IEC 60079 (ATEX), ISO 5167, NEN-EN standards, and project specifications.
• Prepare instrumentation design documents , including material take-offs, instrument index, I / O lists, and datasheets.
• Develop hook-up drawings, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and junction box details .
• Define specifications for ATEX / IECEx-certified field instruments for hazardous areas.
• Support procurement by reviewing vendor offers and technical datasheets for compliance.
• Provide installation methodologies for instruments, impulse tubing, cabling, and fittings.
• Prepare calibration requirements and define acceptable ranges / tolerances for all instrument types.
• Verify 3D models to confirm accurate placement of instruments, routing of impulse lines, and clash-free installation.
• Coordinate with QA / QC for inspection & test plans (ITPs) related to calibration, installation, and loop checks.
• Monitor HSE compliance for instrumentation installation and testing activities.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to resolve design and site queries.
• Ensure all design deliverables are updated, consistent, and compliant with project quality standards.
