Job Description
- Monitor network traffic and flow using PFsense and Untangle for optimal performance.
- Implement security measures to ensure the integrity of network operations.
- Manage IT and computer systems for seamless functionality.
- Configure and maintain access points (AP) and routers.
- Oversee the installation of networks, servers, and switches.
- Provide ongoing technical assistance for all IT-related issues.
- Work on Firewalls (PFsense), Mail Servers, DNS, DHCP, and Terminal.
- Establish firewalls to secure the office network from suspicious and unwanted access.
- Implement measures to block torrent sites and bandwidth-consuming platforms (YouTube, Netflix, Facebook).
- Conduct system hardening on support team laptops, including monitoring software installation and USB port blocking.
- Utilize AnyDesk for remote technical support, resolving issues efficiently.
- Set up VPN connections for SIP servers, providing remote calling access for employees working offsite.
- Assist the admin department in procuring cost-effective IT solutions within budget constraints.
- Demonstrate knowledge of IT equipment and market rates.
- Independently deploy SIP server for calling, benefiting both customers and the customer support team.
- Establish VPN connections for the SIP server, enabling remote calling access for employees working from various locations.
- Upgrade network router layout to accommodate more devices on a single WiFi network without disconnections.
- Address queries from developers regarding technical issues and provide guidance and feedback.
Education :
M ust have Bachelor’s Degree in IT or CS or any relevant domain.
Work Experience : 1 year of relevant work experience is a must.
