IT OFFICER

Job Description : '

• Manage and maintain LAN / WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and security.
• Implement network policies and procedures to maintain operational effectiveness. Deploy and manage updates using WSUS (Windows Server Update Services).
• Use SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for centralized software distribution, patch management, and compliance enforcement.
• Configure and manage Intune for mobile device management and cloud-based endpoint administration.
• Automate the setup and configuration of laptops and desktops within the organization
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor server health, logs, and capacity planning. Assess hardware and software needs for departments.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and assist in purchasing IT equipment like servers, switches, laptops, firewalls, and accessories.
• Maintain inventory and ensure timely installation and support of procured devices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, network diagrams, and procedures. Generate reports on system performance, software compliance, and procurement status.
