Job Responsibilities
- Define the financial product(s) strategy and roadmap.
- Undertake activities for developing / refining financial products based on primary research in the field and secondary research available.
- Be aware of market competition and trends / benchmarks on a regular basis for refining / adjusting product parameters, delivery channels, and marketing strategy.
- Finalize product launch / annual implementation plans (inclusive of quarterly and annual targets) in the Bank in coordination with Business.
- Develop revenue and cost forecasts for the product.
- Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals in coordination with Treasury and Business.
- Provide technical support to the Area Managers for the effective implementation of the product, troubleshooting.
- Train field staff for pilot tests.
- Identify alternate distribution channels for the delivery of the product.
- Monitor product performance on a monthly basis to analyze product uptake trends, product quality, etc., and take corrective measures to adjust product parameters accordingly. Analyze audit reports for the same purpose.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth launch and implementation of the product.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders if required for the implementation of the product.
- Develop marketing plans, materials, and strategies, and coordinate with the Business and Communication for implementation of the same.
Job Specification
Qualification :
Master’s degree (MBA, Finance preferred) or equivalent from a reputable local university or international university.
Experience :
5-7 years of experience in the banking sector / development sector, as a Product Manager.
Knowledge / Skills :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Urdu).Demonstrated success defining and launching asset and liability products.Strong research skills and ability to translate research into policies.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent teamwork skills.Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority; Strong cross-functional coordination skills.Must be able to travel throughout Pakistan.Examples and at least one sample of an effective product document delivered in the past.Strong follow-up on implementing aggressive growth plans.Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other office-based software.#J-18808-Ljbffr
