Background
The Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives, Pakistan (CPDI) is an independent, non-partisan and a not-for-profit civil society organization working on issues of peace and development in Pakistan. It is registered under section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017. The Citizen Engagement Program is a 5‑year project that aims to strengthen the effectiveness of citizen‑led interventions and improve government responsiveness to citizens’ concerns in the context of building resilient communities and Disaster Mitigation in South Punjab and North Sindh.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, strengthen, and ensure compliance with M&E procedures.
- Develop and update M&E plans, log frames and indicator tracking sheets.
- Monitor project activities and progress towards achieving the project output.
- Select indicators, set targets, collect / register means of verifications, and report.
- Collect, store and analyse data and report as per standard on schedule.
- Support the preparation and review of program reports and documents.
- Assist in the development of concept notes and proposals.
- Coordinate with CPDI / partner field staff to carry out monitoring visits.
- Propose strategies for greater efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks and developing plans to minimize or eliminate them.
- Ensure outcomes and lessons learnt are communicated to the program teams and management for better implementation of the program.
- Provide training and mentoring to CPDI and partner staff on M&E systems, data collection, and reporting standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualification and Skills
A master’s degree in a relevant field such as international development, social sciences, statistics, or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
