Assistant Manager IT - Governance & Security

Job Purpose :

The focus of this role will be on IT Governance & Security

Job Responsibilities :

Manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution to secure privileged accounts and enforce least privilege policies.

Administer Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms for threat detection, investigation, and remediation on endpoints.

Implement Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) tool to track, analyze the alerts against activities.

Deploy Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems to prevent unauthorized data exfiltration and ensure data privacy.

Support to configure Network Access Control (NAC) cases to enforce security policies on devices connected.

Oversee Network Detection and Response (NDR) solutions to identify and respond to network-based threats and anomalies.

Investigate security alerts from these platforms, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate incident response activities.

Collaborate with Information Security and compliance teams to align security controls with business requirements and regulatory standards

Develop and maintain documentation, including configuration baselines, runbooks and incident reports.

Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices related to privileged access, endpoint, data and network security.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills) : Education :

Should have BE / BS in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Work Experience :

Should have minimum 5 year of relevant experience.

Skills – Job Specific :

Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA, CCSP, CISSP certifications or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., PAM, EDR, DLP).

Hands-on experience working with PAM, EDR, DLP, NAC, NDR and DAM technologies.

Understanding of network protocols, database architectures, and endpoint security architecture.

Familiarity with incident response processes and threat hunting techniques.

Good knowledge for automations and API integrations is a plus.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills for collaboration across technical and business teams.
