We are looking for a skilled and motivated Upwork Bidder / Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will find new project opportunities on Upwork, write engaging proposals, and build strong relationships with potential clients. Your main goal will be to win new projects and help grow the business by turning leads into long-term partnerships. You’ll also work closely with our project management and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution. Responsibilities
Identify relevant job opportunities on Upwork that match our services. Write customized, clear, and convincing proposals to attract client interest. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs. Discuss project details, timelines, and pricing to close deals. Track proposal statuses and follow up to ensure smooth communication. Maintain strong, long-term client relationships for repeat business and referrals. Keep accurate records of proposals, client messages, and project updates. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met. Do not use AI to write proposals or cover letters. Experience
Prior experience in bidding and winning projects on Upwork. Familiarity with Upwork’s platform, client behaviors, and industry norms. A background in writing business proposals and communicating with clients. Skills
Excellent written and spoken English. Strong negotiation and pricing strategy skills. Ability to tailor proposals for different industries and project types. Understanding of project management tools and workflows. Great attention to detail and organizational skills. Qualities
Self-driven and capable of working independently. Results-oriented with a focus on meeting targets. Creative and strategic thinker when approaching new opportunities. Professional and respectful in all client communications. Preferred
