The postgraduate qualification required is FCPS, MD, CCT, or Diplomat American Board in Neonatology or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC / PMC.

If no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualification, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatric or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC / PMC is acceptable.

This must be accompanied by three years of experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics in a training program accredited by the Pakistan Medical Commission (CPSP or University) or an international body from an institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

Furthermore, five years of teaching experience in Neonatology as Assistant Professor or equivalent position is required, along with at least three research papers published in a standard medical journal recognized by the PMDC / PMC or the Higher Education Commission.## General Application GuidelinesAll applicants are required to submit a hard copy of their online application form along with two photocopy sets of all relevant documents and research papers. Only original articles published in book-form on or before the closing date will be considered. Review articles, case-studies / reports, translations, briefs, conference papers, and editorials are not accepted as published research papers. However, online published research work in a recognized foreign journal is acceptable, provided the journal(s) is duly indexed by PMDC / PMC / PubMed / Index Medicus / ExcerptaMedica / Embase. A recognition list of such journal(s) by PMDC / PMC is also required.

Experience gained in the Government Sector (Contract, Current Charge, Acting Charge, Ad-hoc basis) will only be accepted if it is issued by the Appointing / Competent Authority.

Experience on Ops / Designated basis (up to , only), BOM (Board of Management), TTS (Tenure Track System / Status), and University Cadre will be considered if recognized and issued by PM&DC.
