Finance Officer

Overview

HMT is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Officer for one of our clients, with a strong background in accounting, taxation, and financial management. The ideal candidate should be a CA Finalist or ACCA qualified professional with at least 3 years of experience , particularly in US taxation, financial reporting, and compliance . This is a remote position requiring excellent English communication skills to collaborate with international teams.

Working Hours : 6 : 00 PM - 3 : 00 AM CST (Night Shift)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance reports in accordance with US GAAP and tax regulations .
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings , ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in tax planning, filings, and audits for US-based entities.
• Handle accounts payable / receivable, reconciliations, and payroll processing .
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) to maintain financial records.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
