Finance Analyst

Overview Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to support a remote client in managing financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of financial statements, and the ability to deliver actionable insights that drive business performance.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or variances

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes

Support client-side finance team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting

Conduct variance analysis between actuals and forecasts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

1+ years of experience in financial analysis or related role

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and presentation abilities

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
