Responsibilities

Student Advising and Consultation : Provide individualized consultations to students, helping them make informed decisions about their educational path.

Admissions Assistance : Guide students through the college or university application process, ensuring they submit competitive applications.

Financial Aid and Scholarships : Assist students in securing financial aid and scholarships to make higher education more accessible.

Interview Preparation : Prepare students for college and scholarship interviews through mock interviews and valuable insights.

College and Career Guidance : Offer valuable career advice and help students explore opportunities in their chosen field.

Record Keeping and Reporting : Maintain records of student interactions and share insights to improve the educational consulting process.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Knowledge of college admissions processes and scholarship opportunities.

Familiarity with financial aid options and applications.

At least 2 years previous experience in college advising or related roles is a plus.
