The SEO Manager needs to understand full circle SEO relationships and how to create, maintain, and execute against a keyword strategy across a range of technologies and applications. The SEO Manager needs to bring a mixture of technical, creative, and strategic skills to a tight-knit team who work together to achieve the singular purpose of search engine domination. Knowledge of white hat SEO methods and best practices. Creation, ownership, and maintenance of keyword strategy. Managing reciprocal link exchange programs and directory submissions. Managing submission and optimization of paid search (keyword, ad copy & bids). Strong analytical skills, i.e., the ability to analyze results to determine key findings. Monitoring SEO and paid search online conversions to ensure effectiveness of team members and strategy to ensure maximization of search visibility. Basic programming and web design knowledge, and how it affects SEO is desirable. Implementing code changes and enhancements to key (owned and earned) assets to ensure the highest ranking possible. Define, document, and implement best practices for SEO analysis and reporting, and provide guidance for and monitoring of ethical standards of SEO.
