The Data Engineering Developer plays a key role in designing and optimizing scalable ELT pipelines in BigQuery, leveraging tools such as DBT to build robust, testable, and maintainable data models. This role focuses on improving data quality, system reliability, and performance through well‑structured transformations, automated testing, and efficient orchestration. It requires strong SQL and BigQuery expertise, familiarity with modern data development practices, and a proactive mindset toward optimizing and evolving our data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering
• Experience working with DBT / Dataform / similar framework
• Experience working with Airflow / Composer / similar framework
• Experience working with AI systems (e.g., LLM for data analysis / interpretation)
• Experience working with SQL in BigQuery / similar data warehouse platforms
• Experience designing modular, scalable data architectures and modeling data pipelines using best practices
• Experience adopting test‑driven development approach and creating automated tests
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and communication skills
• Experience working with Docker
• Experience working in Git for collaborative development and version control
