This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at our Lahore-based office. As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for preparation of financial statements, trial balance, VAT returns, preparing reconciliations, tax calculations & returns and other core Accountancy functions. This is a Senior position so you must have previous experience (2+ years) working in another accounting practice with UK Clients. We primarily work with small businesses across a wide range of industries and you will be required to be involved in a full spectrum of services such as - Sole Trader & Limited company Bookkeeping, Payroll, VAT Returns, CIS, Companies House (Changes of PSC / Owners / Directors), Client queries, etc. And most importantly you will be managing a team of 4 people, training them and pushing them to become great accountants so that they can take your position and you can grow further with the business. We don't like to leave things for later, just because the deadline is still weeks or months away, but instead get to work as soon as reports can be submitted and then use the rest of the time for learning and education. Fully or Part-Qualified (UK) ACCA At least 2 Years of experience with UK Clients Experience Working in Accounting practice Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. VAT, CIS, Payroll, Statutory Accounts, Reconciliations, etc. Good proficiency in using Google Sheets & Google Docs Key Responsibilities / Your Role

When you join as a senior accountant you will be first given clients to work with to see if you can consistently and reliably deliver high quality work. We deeply care about all our clients and we want to make sure that they constantly receive high quality accounting services. Once you prove yourself as a reliable and accurate accountant you will be trusted to manage a team of 4 other accountants. These accountants will have some experience with UK Clients, but not as much as a senior accountant. Together with your team you will be looking after a dedicated client base. We are process-driven accounting practice and it's important for us to collect valuable data from our operations as it helps us with decisions. While we have a lot of processes in place there is always room for improvements, so you will be invited to contribute to process improvement through preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your team and business in general.
