About the Role
As Campaigner for the DACH region, you will monitor social and political developments, identify opportunities for impactful action, and design compelling campaigns that capture public attention. You will collaborate with allies, media contacts, and our global team to expand CitizenGO’s reach and influence.
You will take complex issues and make them accessible—transforming them into clear, emotionally resonant, and action‑oriented messages. This role calls for creativity, boldness, and a deep belief in CitizenGO’s mission to defend life, family, and freedom.
We are looking for someone proactive and strategic, ready to take initiative, think big, and lead campaigns that inspire change.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor global and national developments to identify opportunities for impactful campaigns.
- Draft, proofread, edit, and send compelling petitions and campaign emails to CitizenGO supporters.
- Create and refine prompts for AI tools to enhance emails, communications, and other written materials.
- Research and source relevant, issue‑specific supporting materials from the press, NGOs, etc., for campaigns.
- Translate global campaigns and content from English into German with cultural and strategic sensitivity.
- Manage communication with supporters and respond to inquiries when needed.
- Propose offline actions such as ad buys and public petition deliveries.
- Coordinate local briefings, press releases, and campaign research in German.
- Translate CitizenGO’s worldwide campaigns and emails from English to German.
- Engage in public speaking and media relations.
- Establish connections with journalists, influencers, and activists on social media to expand campaign reach.
- Manage correspondence and conduct consultations (e.g., polling) with members.
- Attend and / or support campaign events and take ownership of local logistics when necessary.
- Assist and advise the Media Campaigners on offline events and performances related to campaigns.
Who You Are
Living in the DACH region, speaking German as a first language.At least B2‑level proficiency in English (Duolingo English Test required for non‑natives, minimum score of 100). Spanish and other languages are a plus.Strong copywriting experience and a flair for emotionally resonant messaging.Understanding of civic advocacy, grassroots mobilization, and how to move public opinion.Experience using and learning digital tools quickly; AI tools are a plus.A strategic thinker with the ability to analyze socio‑political contexts and translate them into campaigns.Confident writing in an active, emotional, and persuasive voice. Previous experience producing marketing content is an asset.Adaptable, thrive under pressure, and manage multiple deadlines with ease.Motivated by impact—not hours—and takes ownership of work.Willing to work autonomously on a variety of tasks and projects, prioritizing them efficiently.Comfortable in a highly collaborative team culture, respectful of team hierarchy, and thrives in a values‑driven organization.Ability to adjust quickly to changing conditions and requirements.Ensures high professionalism, self‑motivation, efficiency, and results‑oriented delivery on short timelines.Proactive, takes initiative to get the job done, enriches the organization with valuable projects and proposals.Available for occasional evening / weekend work and open to travel.Familiar with Google Workspace; experience with project management tools and CRMs is a plus.Believes deeply in CitizenGO’s mission and is committed to defending life, family, and freedom.Benefits
