Job Summary : To spearhead our growth in the digital lending and BNPL space. This role involves identifying new lending opportunities, forming strategic partnerships (B2B and B2C), and driving customer acquisition. You will be a key player in shaping the company’s expansion strategy while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful lending products that solve real consumer and merchant pain points. Key Responsibilities : 1. Lending & BNPL Growth Strategy
- Identify market segments (e.g., e-commerce, retail, youth) where BNPL or micro-lending can drive value.
- Work with product and risk teams to localize offerings like installment plans, short-term loans, and embedded finance options. 2. Merchant Acquisition & Partnerships
- Onboard e-commerce / offline stores, point-of-sale retailers, and service providers to offer BNPL / lending at checkout.
- Develop partnership frameworks, pricing, and revenue-sharing models.
- Educate merchants on product benefits, customer impact, and integration process. 3. Financial Institution & Channel Partner Alliances
- Establish relationships with NBFCs, banks, aggregators, or agent networks for co-lending, capital sourcing, or collections support.
- Manage partnership lifecycle from due diligence to contract negotiation and performance monitoring. 4. Sales Pipeline Management
- Develop a strong pipeline of potential partners, merchants, and referral agents.
- Lead end-to-end sales process : prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and onboarding.
- Track and report KPIs such as lead conversion, active merchant count, disbursed volume, and repeat usage. 5. Market Intelligence & Product Feedback
- Conduct market analysis on consumer behavior, credit demand, and regulatory changes.
- Act as the voice of the market to inform product development, pricing, risk models, and marketing efforts. Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Economics (MBA preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience in business development, preferably in fintech / Telco / Digital Banking, digital lending, BNPL, or consumer credit.
- Proven success in acquiring B2B partnerships and managing large accounts or merchant networks.
- Understanding of consumer lending dynamics, credit lifecycle, and embedded finance models.
- Familiarity with digital onboarding, credit scoring, and KYC / AML compliance in the fintech space. Preferred Experience :
- Worked in or with e-commerce, POS / retail chains, or platforms offering pay-later solutions.
- Strong network with fintechs, merchants, or telcos in Pakistan or similar markets.
- Experience working with underbanked populations or developing alternate credit assessment strategies.
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape (e.g., SBP, SECP in Pakistan or other regulators). Key Skills :
