SAP FICO Functional Consultant & Business Analyst - Offshore

Overview

Our client, a global fresh produce distributor, is looking for a SAP FICO Functional Consultant & Business Analyst to act as the liaison between finance business stakeholders and the IT organization to design, configure, and optimize SAP S / 4HANA FICO solutions to drive financial efficiency and reporting accuracy. This is a 6-month contractual position with likelihood of extension. Candidates must be fluent in English and willing to work EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, document, and validate complex business requirements from finance and accounting stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and effective SAP FICO configurations.
• Configure, customize, and test SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders.
• Lead and support integration efforts with other SAP modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and CO-PA (Profitability Analysis).
• Manage and ensure seamless data flows between SAP FICO and peripheral systems like BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and Esker for document automation.
• Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting, resolving system issues, and conducting root cause analysis.
• Facilitate end-user training and create comprehensive documentation for system processes and configurations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to specify requirements for development objects (e.g., reports, interfaces) and perform rigorous functional testing.
