DATA ENTRY STAFF

Job Responsibilities :

Enter alphanumeric, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the designated computer database, spreadsheet, or other electronic formats. Verify the accuracy and completeness of data inputs by comparing it with source documents, records, or electronic files. Review and validate data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and make necessary corrections or adjustments as needed. Clean and standardize data by removing duplicate entries, formatting inconsistencies, and other data quality issues to maintain data integrity. Maintain and update databases, records, and files by adding new data, modifying existing entries, and archiving outdated or obsolete information. Generate and prepare reports, summaries, and statistical analyses of data entry activities, performance metrics, and key indicators for management review and decision-making. Qualifications and Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in data entry or related field preferred. Proven experience in data entry, clerical, or administrative roles, preferably in a fast-paced office environment. Proficiency in typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with data entry software, database management systems, and office productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
