Associate GCP Data Engineer (1-2 years experience)

Job Summary : At

Manafa , we are looking for a

Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer

with

1-2 years of relevant experience

in data engineering or development. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background and a keen eye for detail, with a passion for transforming data into meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data pipelines on GCP, primarily using BigQuery, Dataproc (PySpark), and optionally Dataflow or Datafusion.

Implement ETL / ELT jobs to integrate data from multiple sources into GCP data lakes and warehouses.

Schedule and monitor workflows using Cloud Composer (Airflow).

Support basic reporting and analytics through Power BI dashboards.

Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver clean, reliable datasets.

Perform basic performance tuning and data validation for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualification Requirements

Experience :

1–2 years in data engineering or development.

Core GCP Tools :

Hands-on with BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Storage; Dataflow / Datafusion experience is a plus.

Programming :

Strong PySpark and SQL skills.

Workflow Tools :

Exposure to Airflow or Cloud Composer.

Visualization :

Familiarity with Power BI and SSRS.

Soft Skills :

Problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.
