Responsibilities
- Strategically chart a course for the category, portfolio, and brand using data-driven decision-making; build compelling stories to rally internal teams and partners.
- Drive vertical integration of projects through transformation of brand strategies to actionable and measurable activation plans on both consumer and shopper fronts in collaboration with internal cross functional and bottler teams.
- Provide holistic, understanding-based analytical rigor feeding risks / opportunities, and deliver market input and strategic local guidance for development of regional and market level strategies, including opportunities for innovation and portfolio expansion.
- Champion local insights, both brand / projects based and overall consumer understanding, and feed them to the system for effective strategy articulation and activation planning.
- Partner with Sales and Customers to execute best-in-class strategies and win the sale in an omni-channel environment; maximize business at retail and collaborate to deliver results.
- Lead system alignment on projects (both marketing campaigns and innovations) through key strategies, objectives, system investment, and activity calendar, with defined success metrics in partnership with Category and Franchise teams.
- Manage brand activation at the field level, including POS activations, promos, and experiential marketing and events (leveraging marketing assets), in coordination with bottling team.
- Support the System in Customer & Shopper marketing agenda, maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.10+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, preferably in the consumer goods industry, including leading smaller teams.Experience developing strategic brand / product plans and commercialization strategies that break from the category and drive sales.Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is preferred.Strong drive for results and ability to display leadership, decision-making and analytical skills, effective communication, strategic thinking, self-motivation, and a passion for the consumer.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to influence and lead others, including those outside of the Marketing function.Strong creative and analytical abilities.Skills
