Lecturer – Riphah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Rips)

The Lecturer is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in academic research. The role also involves supporting departmental goals through research, academic guidance, and institutional service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions according to the curriculum and academic schedule.
• Develop, revise, and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools to enhance learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, examinations, and practical evaluations.
• Supervise and guide undergraduate and postgraduate students on research projects and dissertations.
• Conduct original research in pharmaceutical sciences and clinical research, and publish results in reputable journals.
• Provide academic counseling, mentoring, and career guidance to support student development and success.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and institutional quality assurance processes.
• Assist in planning and organizing academic seminars, workshops, and conferences to promote scholarly activities.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives undertaken by the institute to advance scientific knowledge.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, discipline, and ethics in all teaching, research, and student interactions.
