Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Work with key stakeholders to author functional specification to propose enhancement through BI & analytics which has been identified for strategic analysis or product management recommendation.
- Work on data modeling with ETL developers for making data structures and content to supports analytics.
- Own the data, analytics, and reporting to empower business verticals and build strategies.
- Collaborate closely with all areas of the business (Product, Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Finance, CBSME, CF) to provide analysis and reporting.
- Utilize internal / external data sources to develop and maintain dynamic and scalable dashboards to track key performance metrics. Vertical businesses as well as specific sources of traffic, channels, or products.
- Develop ROI business cases to support new and existing product development.
- Flag trends and issues where relevant and offer data-backed recommendations.
- Ensure data integrity across all performance-based metrics, tracking and reporting.
- Interpret and communicate information in a manner that can be comprehended by non-analytical audience.
- Strong experience at writing SQL queries against complex databases for the purpose of data extraction.
- Liaison with consultants and understand the data requirements to provide the reporting resolution.
- Meet the deliverable timelines.
- Convert old reports and create new dashboards.
- Understand the business problems, identify the data requirements and convert it in meaningful information.
- Ability to write queries against the datasets.
- Be champion for new BI technologies.
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for users.
Provide technical assistance and training to other team members.
Sale management system maintenance and reporting to help the business to manage the sales more efficiently.
Liaison with IT for DWH and integration of BI system.
Continuous improvement of dashboards and conduct troubleshooting.
Manage junior staff and support in development.
Ideally have knowledge of CF business / Retail business with 7-8 years of banking experience.
