Merchandising Manager (textile)

Our client is a well-reputed Textile firm seeking a Merchandising Manager.

The candidate should be FOREIGN QUALIFIED and have 4 or 5 years of experience in denim Textile. Responsibilities include :

• Coordinate with the preproduction department for arrangement of CA on committed dates.
• Place fabric and trim orders well in advance as per ‘gantt' dates to ensure timely arrival of materials.
• Issue order acceptance forms and Proforma invoices for L / C establishment as soon as the order is confirmed.
• Follow up on materials and production for on-time delivery.
• Conduct quality follow-ups at different production levels to ensure that the client's quality standards are maintained.
• Reject any shipment not meeting the required quality standards and inform the concerned parties in advance.
• Ensure no materials / resources are wasted.
• Provide post-production support and service to clients.
• Support the marketing manager, deputy marketing manager, and commercial office through completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensure zero complaints from customers regarding communication.
• Ensure that all outgoing samples to customers meet the required quality levels.
• Send updates to assigned customers on agreed timelines for sampling and production.
• Maintain a full booking pipeline of assigned customers with interested product development that matures into profitable business.
