Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in CS, Software Engineering or related domain or the candidates graduating in 2025

Strong proficiency in React.js, React Native, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Experience working with data structures or algorithms during coursework / projects, research, internships, or practical experience in school or work (e.g. open-source coding).

Experience or familiarity with MERN stack or React Native.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with Rest & GraphQL APIs and third-party libraries

Familiarity with Git, version control, and deployment processes.

Ability to learn other coding languages and stacks as needed

AWS knowledge nice to have but not mandatory

About the job As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to BeHope’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. As a key member of a small and versatile team, you design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.

Responsibilities

Work on web development projects using technologies such as MERN stack and React Native.

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software

Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

Create RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers

Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development
