We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor - YouTube to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing, a strong understanding of animation techniques, and the ability to transform scripts into compelling video content. Key Responsibilities : Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product according to provided scripts. Create engaging animations that enhance storytelling and explain complex concepts. Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute video concepts and styles. Ensure the final videos are optimized for YouTube, including appropriate formatting and SEO practices. Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and animation to ensure our content is fresh and innovative. Qualifications : Proven experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube or other online platforms. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender). Strong understanding of video production processes, including sound design and color grading. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. A portfolio showcasing previous video editing and animation work is a must. Job Specification Technical Skills : Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools. Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software like After Effects, Blender, or similar (preferred). Understanding of video compression techniques and optimization for YouTube’s platform. Ability to work with different file formats, codecs, and resolutions (4K, HD, etc.). Creative Skills : Strong storytelling skills and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, compelling content. Understanding of pacing, music synchronization, and audio balancing. Ability to create attention-grabbing thumbnails, intros, and outros. Familiarity with modern YouTube trends and audience preferences. Knowledge of YouTube : In-depth understanding of YouTube’s video algorithms, SEO, and best practices for video uploads. Ability to craft metadata (titles, tags, and descriptions) to maximize video discoverability. Knowledge of YouTube copyright policies, community guidelines, and monetization strategies.
