Vice President of Enterprise Sales, IgniteTech (Remote)

Base pay : $100 / hr (equivalent to $200,000 / year for 40 hours / week, 50 weeks).

Enterprise software rarely collapses because you lack recognizable customer names—it collapses because revenue from existing accounts quietly deteriorates. In long-cycle B2B environments, 70–90% of the coming year's revenue hinges on renewal execution, expansion quality, and rescue capability. Forecast drift, poorly structured SOWs, and weak escalation discipline silently erode margins and customer confidence. The outcome : missed targets, CFO doubt, and customers who view you as interchangeable rather than indispensable.

Our approach is fundamentally different. We operate a system-driven commercial model in which rigorous execution outperforms individual heroics. We generate profitable, sustainable revenue from a Fortune-level installed base through precise renewals, targeted expansions, and controlled executive escalations. Commercial structure is treated as a core product : margin-protected proposals, contracts that enable smooth delivery, and QBRs that genuinely advance adoption.

This position is not a place for unstructured autonomy or surface-level metrics. It's designed for someone energized by forecast precision, margin-disciplined deal architecture, well-drafted SOWs, and executive dialogue that delivers clarity and commitment. You'll apply authentic GenAI capabilities to accelerate analysis and communication, demonstrate sound commercial judgment during uncertainty, manage escalations with calm authority, and coach teams to sharpen pricing, structure, and negotiation. If you've led enterprise B2B software sales with accountability for renewals, expansions, multi-year agreements, SLAs, and pricing strategy, this will feel familiar.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Advancing renewals and expansions from pipeline stage through executed agreements
  • Leading executive reviews and directing escalation management
  • Designing and approving commercial proposals and contracts built to withstand scrutiny

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand enterprise account revenue and retention through rigorous commercial execution, strategic account stewardship, and frictionless customer integration
  • Basic Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B enterprise software
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing renewals, expansions, or account development
  • Demonstrated use of LLMs and GenAI tools to optimize workflows
  • Track record managing multi-million-dollar enterprise accounts
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Order-to-Cash (O2C) workflows
  • Background serving regulated industry customers (finance, healthcare, or pharma), including compliance-oriented commercial frameworks
  • Experience directing sales or account teams in quota-bearing positions and mentoring on deal structure and negotiation
  • History engaging C-level customer stakeholders, including facilitating QBRs, strategic planning sessions, and escalation resolution
