Deputy Chief Engineer, Turbine Metering

BE / B.S. Engineering (16 years of education) preferably Mechanical / Telecommunication / Mechatronics. Minimum 06 years of post-qualification experience especially in maintenance of Gas meters and equipment used in oil and gas sector. Candidates having Masters will be preferred.

Responsibilities :

• Lead efforts to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment at Industrial Gas meter stations and Town Border Stations (TBSs).
• Lead teams, implementing proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower utilization and meet established time schedules.
• Manage and supervise gas volume sales to bulk customers.
• Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of Gas Turbine meters at customer meter stations.
• Manage operations, maintenances, and calibration of Electronic Volume Corrector (EVC) / Turbine Output Corrector (TOC) installed at various Customer Meter Stations and Natural Gas Installations.
• Maintain optimal spares availability for smooth operation.
• Procure gas meters / TOC / EVC / spares in a timely manner, including preparing technical specifications and evaluation reports and inspecting received equipment / spares.
• Prepare malfunctioning advices / volumes and ensure timely input into the Customer Care & Billing system.
• Develop, implement, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, ensuring they are met through the overall plan.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to contribute to the team's overall success.
• Thorough understanding of SMSs, TBSs, DMSs, and other relevant systems, coupled with expertise in Gas Transmission and Distribution.
