• The Division
• Computrition is a company within the Jonas Operating Group of Constellation Software. Computrition provides enterprise-level software systems for foodservice and nutrition management. Its solutions help users with :
• Food production operations, including costing and planning.
• Inventory control and ordering.
• Nutrition care management and analysis.
• Retail Point-of-Sale (PoS) solutions.
• Healthcare room service management.
• The Position
• We are seeking a high-impact Lead Automation Analyst to join our team. The hired individual will own automation strategy end-to-end : from framework design to pipeline integration and defect detection.This is not a QA support role. You’ll lead the charge to reduce manual testing, improve CI / CD efficiency, and ensure quality throughout our UI migration and AWS readiness efforts. If you’re a builder who treats test automation like a product, you’ll thrive here.The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi / Lahore / Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

• The risk of regressions will increase significantly during Computrition’s tech stack transitions. We need someone who has :
• Built automation that engineers actually trust
• Delivered ROI by reducing test time
• Improved defect detection and release velocityWhat High Performance Looks Like in Year 1
• Automate at least 20% of high-risk regression flows within the first 6 months
• Demonstrate a 70% reduction in manual regression hours per release by month 12
• Integrate automated smoke tests into CI pipelines within 3 months
• Identify and stabilize top 5 flaky tests per quarter
• Track test performance with basic dashboards (pass / fail, runtime, test count) by end of Q2
• Begin mapping test failures to defect root causes and production escapes
• Key Responsibilities
• Automation & Frameworkso Build and maintain UI automation using Playwright (JavaScript)o Translate manual tests and user stories into automated test coverageo Apply scalable patterns (POM / Component Model) for reusable test code
• Testing Strategy & Debuggingo Prioritize tests that cover critical workflows and reduce regression risko Debug failing tests quickly; collaborate with devs to resolve root causeso Identify and stabilize flaky tests
• CI / CD & Infrastructureo Integrate tests into Azure DevOps pipelineso Ensure fast, reliable test feedback across environmentso Contribute to AWS readiness using service mocks, dashboards, and observability tools
• Collaboration & Processo Work closely with developers, QA, and PMs to understand workflows and prioritize coverageo Maintain traceability between user stories, manual tests, and automationo Promote QA best practices and mentor others (even informally)
• Required Qualifications & Skills
• BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience in QA with recent 3+ years focused on UI automation.
• Expertise in Playwright and API automation (Postman + Newman).
• Hands-on experience with BrowserStack or similar cross-browser / device testing platforms.
• Proven experience implementing and managing automation processes.
• Strong skills in DOM inspection, selectors, and browser debugging.
• Experience integrating test automation into Azure DevOps.
• Comfortable in Git workflows and distributed teams.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken, is a must.
• Strong focus on attention to detail is a must.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to take direction and communicate effectively.
• Strong time management. Use time effectively and efficiently, concentrating efforts on the most important priorities.
• Action-oriented, capable of working with little or no direction at times.
