Responsibilities
- MMM Execution : Build and validate MMMs to analyze the effectiveness and ROI of various marketing channels and business drivers.
- Forecast and Scenario Planning :
Analyze model outputs to provide actionable insights on marketing performance, media effectiveness, and channel attribution.
Use MMMs to create business and marketing forecasts. Develop what-if scenarios to project the impact of changes in marketing spend or strategy.Support Data Integration : Gather, clean, and integrate data from various sources (e.g., sales, media spend, economic indicators, competitive activity) for use in the models.Support QA to ensure that all analysis tools are accurately pulling in data
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work across teams to understand business objectives and translate them into modeling requirements and clearly communicate complex analytical findings to stakeholders.Support Model Enhancement : Continuously evaluate and improve modeling methodologies to ensure accuracy and relevance.Ad-hoc Analysis : Respond to specific data-related inquiries from different teams, providing quick insights to support decision-making.Industry Knowledge : Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and techniquesWorkflow Management : Prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processesUtilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your departmentRole Requirements
Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related fieldBackground in statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, data science, economics, or other quantitative field2+ years of experience in marketing analyticsCore Technical SkillsProficiency in R or Python, and SQL for data analysisUnderstanding of data science concepts like statistical modeling, experiment design, limits of statistics, and data infrastructure to support data scienceUnderstanding of media mix modeling principles, including concepts like adstock, saturation curves, and base vs. incremental effectsExperience in analyzing large and complex data sets to drive business insights and decisionsData visualization skills using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or ExcelPreferred Technical ExperienceKnowledge of marketing measurement methods, including incrementality testing and attribution modeling conceptsExperience with ETL tools, such as Funnel.io and Fivetran, a strong plus but not required.Experience with digital data collection tools (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics), a strong plus but not required.Experience with ad platform reporting and data systems (3rd party pixels, product catalogs, and server-side tracking)Soft Skills & Work StyleExcellent communication skills, including ability to present complex forecast and modeling outputs to internal growth teams and stakeholdersHighly dependable, self-starter with strong organization, time management skills, and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively under pressure in a fast-paced environmentKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)
