Responsible for going door-to-door and selling IT services and solutions. Sets up and demonstrates products, negotiates sales, and completes paperwork. May check up on clients.
Our clients are mainly of executive level, and the desired person should be familiar with IT services and the concept of ERP.
Job Specification
- Set up and demonstrate products, showing how customers can maximize product features.
- Deliver presentations on product features.
- Persuade clients to purchase products using scripts or persuasive techniques.
- Distribute product samples and pamphlets.
- Write up orders for merchandise.
- Negotiate prices and create tickets.
- Take payments such as cash, credit, or check.
- Travel by foot, truck, automobile, or bicycle to deliver or sell merchandise or services.
- Make change.
- Develop prospect or lead lists.
- Follow up with customers who are in a position to buy.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Work in an assigned territory, often up to 30-50 houses or locations per day.
- Win back or upgrade current or former customers.
- Assist with installation of products.
- Explain why the product is better than competitors.
- Suggest specific product purchases.
- Clean up demonstration area before leaving.
