Job descriptionSelecting, developing business opportunities and increasing revenue from different segments of the market. Developing and nurturing relationships with key clients and fostering new ones. Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, making presentations, developing business relationships, and obtaining contracts. Managing contacts database, relationship building process and appointment setting, with considerable time expected to be spent out of the office. Projecting and maintaining the company's professional image. Coordinating closely with other departments to ensure that products and services are delivered within scheduled deadlines. Actively and successfully managing the sales process (lead generations; credentials pitch / client proposals; responding to client queries; solution pitch; negotiation; completion of contracts) aiming to optimize the value of each opportunity. Keeping abreast of product knowledge, customer profiles, and competitors' activities. Producing monthly reports on new business development activity and revenue against targets.
Job Specification
- MBA with concentration in Marketing.
- 3-4 years of Business Development Experience preferably with a financial institution.
- Well-developed business contacts and rapport.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Self-motivated, positive & confident.
- Pleasant personality with a customer-oriented approach.
- Result-oriented and target-driven with real determination for success.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & negotiation skills.
- Effective team player and able to adapt to new environments.
- Desire to help the company achieve its goals.
- Experience in using MS Office applications, Windows, and Internet.
- Willing to work in the field.
- Flexibility to move outside the job description as and when required.
