What is Officer bill processing & Payments - MMBL?

Officer bill processing & Payments - MMBL is a position for processing UBP of MMBL branches & JC sites along with tax payments received from the finance department. Will ensure processing within TAT along with proper accounting entries in bank financial system. Liaison with respective departments within & outside the organization for relevant approvals for processing of bill payments.

Responsibilities

• Process officer bill payments and processing for UBP of MMBL branches and JC sites, including tax payments from the finance department. Ensure processing within TAT with proper accounting entries in the bank's financial system. Liaise with internal and external departments for approvals required to process bill payments.
• Knowledge of financial system regarding posting to balance sheet heads (deposits, credits, receivables, payables, taxes and FED). Knowledge of SOPs / rules / controls for financial payments and posting in different GL heads.
• Support internal / external stakeholders for liquidity management to ensure smooth operations and customer service.
• Ensure availability of funds in respective accounts to process Debit Authorities and cash disbursements of agents within TAT.
• Provide timely data / MIS of the respective unit when required by management.
• Replenish funds periodically for different internal accounts linked with various customer services.
• Maintain proper documentation and financial records daily for audit purposes.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures as well as SBP / prudential regulations for smooth conduct of Branchless Operations.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Line Manager related to daily routine work.
• Take ownership of work assigned and find alternate ways to resolve issues.
