The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at The Aga Khan University is a dynamic academic centre which serves the diagnostic needs of the country through its clinical laboratory services that spreads across Pakistan. AKUH’s Clinical Laboratory is College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited and caters to the need of the entire country through its tertiary lab at the main campus and 300+ specimen collection units and 13 stat labs across Pakistan. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine consists of five major sections namely Chemical Pathology, Haematology & Transfusion Medicine, Histopathology, Microbiology, and Molecular Pathology. Each section is academically driven and is highly engaged in research and undergraduate, postgraduate teaching and training. Responsibilities

You will be responsible to : Enter relevant data pertaining to the patient and test to be undertaken and related tests into computer or manually on daily basis as per the SOP. Download data print computer requisition slip, match the sample and the slips for distribution to the concerned section on daily basis. Prepare cooler on time for dispatching the same to the collection points on daily basis according to the schedule. Handle daily queries of sample distribution bench. Tick, sort, and dispatch lab test companion reports to respective collection points for timely delivery to patients on daily basis in accordance to reporting schedule. Daily correspond with collection points for timely reporting and in case of any query. Receive assets from collection points, provide acknowledgement and forward to concerned section for maintenance. Dispatch instrument back to collection points after maintenance and keep record. Initiate disposal on the basis of assets status form and keep record. Maintain files and daily records. Requirements

You should have : Intermediate / Graduate will be preferred. 2-3 years relevant experience will be preferred. Ability to use computer software i.e Microsoft Office Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English To Apply
