Role

The Python-ETL Data Developer reports to Richard Christy as part of the team to build out our Snowflake offering as well as assist the data team with onboarding new client data within the Sky Road platform. The Sky Road platform provides trade processing, portfolio management, portfolio optimization, compliance, and credit management functions for alternative asset managers. Working under Rich’s guidance, this role will be focused on helping to onboard new client data into our MySQL application database in addition to designing, building, and supporting our new Snowflake offering. Python / ETL and Database skills, good communication and teamwork skills, and motivation to learn new skills are key to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assis the data team with our ETL Framework written in Python as we ramp up the onboarding of new clients and decrease the turn-around time required to load new client data into the Sky Road platform MySQL database.
• Work with the data team to help design, implement and support our new Snowflake offering.
• Assist in timely resolution of incidents and supporting day-to-day operations when issues occur in production.
• Help to improve and maintain documentation for internal team members.

Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The salary range estimate for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 .

The actual compensation will be at Octus' sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
