Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Leadership
- Drive financial strategy in alignment with business goals and regulatory obligations.
- Advise the CEO and board on financial planning, risk, and investment decisions.
- Develop and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital effectively.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (internal and external).
- Present financial results and insights to stakeholders and board members.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations, including safeguarding requirements and capital adequacy.Lead the financial aspects of regulatory reporting and audits.Implement and maintain robust financial controls and risk management frameworks.Treasury & FX Risk
Monitor and manage currency exposure, liquidity, and hedging strategies.Oversee treasury operations and client fund segregation as required.Support capital raising initiatives, investor communications, and due diligence processes.Prepare investor reports and financial models for current and potential stakeholders.Systems & Process Improvement
Implement scalable finance systems and process automation.Leverage data analytics for decision-making and performance improvement.What We’re Looking For
Proven track record as a CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent in an FCA-regulated FX, payments, banking, or fintech environment.Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, particularly related to FCA, PSD2, safeguarding, and capital requirements.Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of global FX markets, financial products, and treasury operations.Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional operations and global regulatory environments.Why Join Us?
