Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Retention : Identify and target potential clients in the cybersecurity space, including enterprises, SMBs, and government agencies, to drive new sales opportunities and expand market reach. Additionally, nurture existing client relationships to foster loyalty and ensure ongoing business growth.
Consultative Selling : Take a consultative approach to sales, conducting thorough needs assessments and solution presentations to tailor offerings to each client's unique requirements, challenges, and objectives.
Pipeline Management : Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking leads, opportunities, and deals through various stages of the sales cycle, and utilizing CRM tools to maintain accurate records and forecast revenue projections.
Negotiation and Closing : Lead negotiations with clients on pricing, terms, and contracts, leveraging strong communication and persuasion skills to overcome objections and secure successful deals and partnerships.
Cross Selling and Upselling : Identify opportunities for cross selling and upselling additional products or services to existing clients, maximizing revenue potential and strengthening client relationships.
Product Knowledge : Develop a understanding of Fortinet, Sophos & Trend Micro ’s and Sophos cybersecurity solutions, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate value propositions and address client needs and paTrin points.
Market Research and Analysis : Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in the cybersecurity space, conducting research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform sales strategies.
Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to coordinate sales efforts, align messaging, and ensure seamless customer experiences from initial engagement through post-sales support.
Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong rapport with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for inquiries, escalations, and ongoing account management needs.
Performance Metrics and Reporting : Set and track sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and reports to management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
Continual Learning and Development : Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, industry regulations, and evolving customer needs, participating in training programs, workshops, and certifications to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of selling cybersecurity products and services.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and solutions, with specific expertise in Fortinet, Sophos & Trend Micro products.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
