Responsibilities :
Lead the fundraising activities for the organization.
Write grant proposals; coordinate with other grant writers within the organization at both international and local levels.
Perform relevant research to identify available authentic grant opportunities and develop strategies to optimise the grant funding process.
Develop public relations strategies and network with potential funders including but not limited to the UN, INGOs, Embassies, Government bodies in Pakistan and international funders.
Analyse funding trends locally, regionally and internationally and make recommendations.
Monitor paperwork and other related documents connected with the grant‑funding process and registration as IP with funders.
Meet reporting requirements on all fundraising interventions.
Qualifications :
A minimum of 5‑year working experience in the development sector, preferably in the UN, INGO or local NGO sector.
Experience in grant proposal writing, budget planning and optimising funding opportunities.
Desirable record of accomplishment of winning grants / funds.
Strong command over written and verbal communication in English.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with professional and confident public‑speaking ability; desirable experience in public relations / marketing.
Proficient in using computers with knowledge of software programmes and internet.
Able to work independently and in a team, prioritise work, meet deadlines, work under pressure and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
