Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Manager Sales – Product & Growth to lead the sales function for our Vendor Portal. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with deep SaaS experience, strong leadership capability, and the ability to manage and coach a remote sales team. The ideal candidate will bring structured sales processes, consistent follow-through, and a strategic mindset that drives predictable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership : Lead and manage a team of 3 remote Business Development Managers (BDMs), providing coaching, guidance, and performance oversight.
- Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive adoption and revenue for the Vendor Portal.
- Pipeline Management : Oversee prospecting, lead qualification, demos, and closing activities to maintain a healthy and predictable pipeline.
- Relationship Building : Engage with key stakeholders and clients to understand needs, present tailored solutions, and foster long‑term relationships.
- Performance Monitoring : Track and report on sales metrics, providing insights, forecasts, and recommendations for improvement.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing and product teams to align messaging, positioning, and promotional strategies.
- Enablement & Training : Ensure BDMs have the right tools, scripts, training, and resources to perform at a high level.
- Market Intelligence : Stay updated on industry trends, buyer behavior, and competitor offerings to ensure our product remains competitive.
- Reporting to Leadership : Provide regular updates to senior management on team performance, challenges, wins, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.Demonstrated success in a sales leadership role, preferably managing B2B SaaS products.Proven experience managing and motivating remote sales teams.Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, processes, and buyer journeys.Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and closing skills.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify gaps, and drive improvements.Highly self‑driven, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.Experience thriving in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in vendor management, procurement tools, or related SaaS domains.Familiarity with Vendor Portals or marketplace‑driven SaaS platforms.About Software Finder
