Position Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will handle all user and license management, configure Salesforce features, and maintain data accuracy. This person will manage sandboxes, support users, track adoption, and ensure smooth system performance. The role includes executing roadmap priorities, managing third‑party integrations, developing scalable solutions, providing user training, and creating clear technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage users and licenses : set up, deactivate, roles, profiles, permissions, groups, OWD, and sharing rules.
- Configure Salesforce : workflows, Process Builder, Flow, approval processes, record types, layouts, dashboards, and reports.
- Manage sandbox environments.
- Gather and translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Identify unused or underused platform features.
- Create and maintain the Salesforce roadmap and define priorities with stakeholders.
- Communicate platform changes to users and stakeholders.
- Maintain high data quality through automation and rules.
- Perform proactive system maintenance : Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
- Handle user support tickets.
- Monitor and improve user adoption.
- Conduct new user onboarding and ongoing training.
- Maintain clear technical documentation.
- Manage integrated applications and work with third‑party vendors.
- Validate business requirements considering security, scalability, and limits.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components as needed.
- Create custom user interfaces using Visualforce, Aura, and Lightning Web Components.
- Use Salesforce APIs to connect with other company systems.
- Maintain code documentation and test classes.
- Oversee release cycles for new and updated applications.
- Integrate and maintain tools like Conga, Highspot, NetSuite, and Icertis.
- Collaborate with IT and developers to ensure system integration across the business.
Requirements
3+ years of Salesforce experience as both Administrator and Developer.Salesforce Administrator Certification.Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels.Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript.Experience with Integration Tools (Celigo, Boomi, Informatica).Experience with Salesforce CPQ.Knowledge of change management and governance.Understanding of Order‑to‑Cash processes.Bachelor’s degree from a 4‑year accredited college / university (preferred).Job Details
