Overview
The General Manager of our catering division is responsible for the entire operation such as hiring, firing, performance reviews, scheduling, training, etc. They should know proper food handling such as ordering, inventory, food storage, food safety and sanitation and should be customer service oriented to handle high volume shifts and be able to promote good customer service policies through employees. They will be responsible for banking, cash handling, paperwork and play a big part in generating sales for the division. This person should be concerned with attention to detail and have high integrity towards all with whom they associate. Responsibilities
Oversee hiring, firing, performance reviews, scheduling and training for staff in the catering division. Manage banking, cash handling and related paperwork; contribute to sales generation. Promote and enforce customer service policies; ensure high quality service during high volume shifts. Maintain attention to detail and uphold integrity in all interactions. Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in a fast paced / hands-on restaurant or catering environment. Strong interpersonal and management skills Knowledge of BOH Extremely organized and attentive to detail Able to perform under pressure Experience in Food Service (preferably Catering) Well experienced in taking and keeping inventory records Quick thinker and problem solver Knowledgeable in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Benefits
