Responsibilities

You will be responsible to : perform risk assessment and deliver planned care to all assigned patients with minimum supervision assist in procedures such as insertion of Central Venous Catheter (CVC), A / Line, chest drain, wound and stoma management according to hospital guidelines provide basic hygiene care and monitor hemodynamics including invasive (CVC and arterial line) monitoring. manage all assigned patients including ventilated patients monitor I / V fluids and carry out fluid management ensure timely documentation as per defined protocols and standards Requirements

You should have : an Intermediate in any discipline along with Matric in Science (Pre-Medical) background at least one year of relevant experience in a reputable healthcare organization while having a Diploma in Critical Care Technician or Nursing Technician from any reputable hospital will be an added advantage completed Nursing Technician training course at AKUH or any other reputable healthcare institution certification in Basic Life Support and Intravenous Cannulation good communication skills and ability to handle work pressure Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted. willingness to work in all shift duties (morning, evening and night).
