Production Officer

We are looking for a Production Officer for our chemical manufacturing industry client based in Karachi. Qualifications :

BSC / B Tech in Chemistry / Chemical with 1-2 years of experience in the Production department (Operations, Repair and Maintenance, HSE, QMS). Job Specification

Duties & Responsibilities : Production Operation : Assist the production manager in factory operations to ensure that production targets and objectives within each area of the business are met. Check the machine / system and ensure they are in working condition. Work with the team to plan, schedule, and perform production activities. Collect the necessary information and instructions from the previous shift for the smooth running of operations. Check the raw materials quantity-wise before starting to fill into the vessels. Inform manager / superiors immediately if any deviation is found in the process or abnormality in the status of machines. Take corrective action, if required, in consultation with superiors. Repair and Maintenance : Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Inform manager immediately upon noticing any wear and tear and maintenance of production plant / equipment. Environmental, Health and Safety : Ensure strict adherence to the safety, environment, and health standards and procedures laid down by management. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory while organizing daily work. Quality Management System : Perform job related to Quality Management System ISO 9001 : 2008 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001 : 2004 and maintain these systems at the plant. Ensure strict adherence to safety, environment, and health standards and procedures laid by management. Suggest process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity. Recommend cost reduction initiatives to the production manager while maintaining quality standards.
