About the role

We want someone to run the entire sales function within a small but growing agency. The right candidate should have excellent sales skills and experience working with an interesting lead and converting them to a closed deal. This person will also be making outbound sales and prospecting for new business. You should have experience working in sales positions with agencies.

The right candidate is responsible, caring, pragmatic, and communicative. We consider these qualities necessary for success in the role. The right candidate has a “happy to help“ attitude and believes we work better together than alone, and can work in a cross-disciplinary team even if you do not physically meet. The right candidate is confident enough to admit mistakes and lack of skills and sees this as an opportunity to learn and improve yourself.

What you’ll be doing

• Generate lists of prospects using tools such as Zoominfo, Hunter.io, and Apollo.io based on set criteria (titles, locations, companies, or industry)
• Conduct cold outbound outreach to these businesses, pitch services, and convert cold leads into warm contacts
• Support the preparation of sales decks, emails, and scripts for target clients
• Engage in other projects related to business development as the company grows
• Directly responsible for the expansion of the company’s sales and customer base
• Take calls with interested leads, introduce them to the company and its services, and move them forward in the sales process
