DBA Middle Proficient In Azure SQL (Freelancer)

We are currently seeking a skilled DBA with proficiency in Azure SQL to join our team remotely.

Responsibilities : - Acquaint As-Is SQL Server DB structure on premises - Design, implement, and maintain database systems on Azure SQL. - Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance. - Manage backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and security. - Collaborate with software development teams to optimize database queries. - Conduct regular database maintenance and updates. - Prepare documentation related to database procedures and processes. Job Specification : - 4+ years of experience in database administration, specifically with Azure SQL. - Strong understanding of SQL, T-SQL, and database design principles. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries. - Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup. - Fluent English required
