Job Title : Junior Construction Estimator

Job Type : Full-Time, On-site (Plaza ONE, G.T road near DHA Phase 2, Gate 1, Islamabad)

Timings : 2 PM - 11 PM (Pakistan Standard Time)

Skills : Blue beam, Plan swift, CAD, Estimations, Fluency in ENGLISH is a MUST

Job Overview : VASL is hiring a detail oriented and motivated Junior Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial fencing projects, analyzing project blueprints and specifications , performing quantity takeoffs , sourcing material and labor costs , and supporting senior estimators with bid preparation . This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of construction principles.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
  • Assist in preparing and submitting bid proposals
  • Perform material and labor takeoffs
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing and availability
  • Support in tracking project budgets and adjusting estimates as needed
  • Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers to ensure estimate accuracy
  • Maintain organized records of bids, takeoffs, and supporting documentation

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering, or a related field.
  • Atleast 6 months to 1 year of experience in construction estimating or a related role.
  • Familiarity with construction plans, specs, and takeoff software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
