Senior Backend Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems that power our responsive web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Node.js, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and backend architecture, with a proven track record of building scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs
- Design and implement scalable backend services for new product features
- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable backend components
- Create efficient MySQL schemas and optimize complex queries
- Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize server and database performance
- Write clean, well-structured, and thoroughly tested code
- Collaborate with the product team to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Contribute to system architecture and technology design decisions
Required Qualifications
10+ years of backend development experience5+ years with Node.js / JavaScriptAdvanced MySQL expertise (schema design, query optimization)Strong experience with RESTful API design and integrationFamiliarity with server-side rendering frameworks and PDF generationExperience with Docker, CI / CD pipelines, and Git workflowsSolid grasp of backend architecture and design patternsPreferred Qualifications
